Away with The Pain

So much pain I feel inside

Why my family treat me so bad, always make me feel sad

They treat me so bady because I want to live freey

not under their control, abuse and excuses

when I'm around them

I always have to fight to protect me and my kids

fight just because I want better for us so why it hurt so much

I would give my life to protect my kids

so fighting for our life is what I did

I never want anybody to have to feel this kind of pain

hope and working hard for change
Looking how far we came
make me know I'm doing the right thing

Something New

If you been taught to believe something

and it doesn't work for you

I learned to be willing to try something new

Just Be You

Never ignore the truth go by your own life experiences

that will help you know what to do

you don’t have to believe everything people tell you

If they have no proof and if their lives have not shown you

some things to do that will help you be the true you

get in touch with your heart

you are worth every part

realize who you are,  It maybe a little hard

but that will take you far  

Hurdles

Somethings are simple for others
that are so harder for me

This Fight

Is this fight just the color of skin

Is this fight  just about religion

Is this fight just being rich or poor

Is this fight just mental slavery, maybe

Is this fight just a woman having right’s to carry her baby
Is this fight just having disabilities

Is this fight just who we can marry

This fight is people been taught to hate who we are, that’s society standards law

Leader No Judge

Be a leader not a judge a lot of people have no guidance to know

doing only what they are familiar with to survive to stay alive

let your life experiences and things you do give people something new to look up to

then it may help them know some things to do

it might just be a few that fight and work hard to find their way through

they could be one of many people that help pull this next generation through

Struggles

If you knew my struggles, you 
would believe my life was in trouble
But I believe in possible things 
so i will continue to fight for my dreams

Dad

Dad you was so loud and too damn proud but all I wanted was to be free

from the abuse but you always had an excuse to lay your hand was the plan
I guess it made you feel like a man, beat me and yell and told me I was going to hell

until I fell under your spell control that was your role, you said I will never amount to nothing but let me tell you something this is true I will never be you, you taught me something right because I learn how to fight take nothing for no one that includes you, know more days feeling blue, one time I hated you for what you did dad I was your kid but in my heart I chose to forgive so I loved you as your kids, but it’s just somethings I will never understand so I’m going to let you rest in peace man

Traditions

Sometimes traditions can be bad because that’s all you have

it can affect you with things you do

because your were told and tough

just holding in your heart having a tradition talk and walk

you will never know that tradition is hurting you

it’s just something you learn you keep it going because it’s your turn

of what you have learned

It’s hurting people's lives everyday traditions can make you lose your way

Unhealthy Relationships

This is how you will know it’s unhealthy for you

when you being used it’s always clues

when getting misused they act like they love you

but all they know how to do is use control on you

but all the time trying to find the right things

to say  hurting your feelings every day

putting you down and having no grounds

to make them feel like they are on top

but inside falling apart hurting in their hearts

but having so much pride to keep them self

feeling alive, keep being around them

it will never stop so you have to remove yourself

and know you will not fall just stand tall

they're mad they're life is going know where

don’t let them take you there

know that is not your battle to fight

It’s hard to have healthy relationships when they are around

because that kind of relationship will tear you down

Insecurities

When you struggle through your life you will put up a fight

with a lot of insecurities within yourself sometimes you don’t know you need help

you would say some hurtful things to tear the other person down to keep them around

afraid you will end up being alone, but being that way want make that loneliness go away  

making them feel  like they need you not knowing you already could be a good woman/man from the start, just  give them your heart but all along thinking if you give them good sex it would make you the best but just living your life just to impress, put that energy into self

that will be your help and first step for good self esteem

getting to know who are you, then you can become true to you

in real life you have to change and realize trying to control a person in that way

will only make them stay for a little while and it will come with a price

but true love will keep them there for life

Mother

Someone that knows her place

and not let room for someone else

to take place, stand up for her child

learn how to stop having her head

in the clouds, not let a man take

control because she know her role

used and abuse as a child why not

The Realness

Why being fake is the way we supposed to be now, we will never live free to be all we can be

we all have feelings and need to find a way for healing

we all have inner strength inside but we were told a lot of lies to believe just know we are free not under man control

not what someone else think you should do In life be true to yourself

then you will be able to get help, life is real not something fake

guess I need to follow what only people say, that will not ever be me any day,

I go by what I learned in seen in life how it got me this far and choose not to live behind bars, stop being fake and act like you have no feelings just go to church for healing and acting like you are

okay but hurting every day faking because of pride, we only can live our own lives to realize what’s right, it’s always room for learning only you know was in your heart burning

just make sure we truly believe what we say and see, not going off of just feelings, your life will show truth not what someone taught or told you to be or do

Color of the skin makes you gone with the wind

texture and length of the hair makes you swear

Looking at the body and clothes wish you could hold

unaware know love was there. when you look at

the superficial things only money it will bring

The Unspoken

Why people live in the this defeat attitude it will stop your growth

makes you feel like there’s no hope, just live day to day just a plan for the average man

To just be that average person not take life as lessons never be all you can be

to live free, you will be under a man/woman control and never know

what’s inside of you hold, It will never be told

If you are broken take the time and get in touch with your heart

Church was always first I think there under a curse
Nothing else on their mind but going to church all the time,
nothing else seem Important what kind of train they borden 

this is how I grown up as kid I supposed to ignore all the bad
Things they did, Church was a part of their control as everything unfold
It was crazy how they raise me, they act like the way to god was how many times you go

To church, but it get worse for god they did not thirst, 
this is just the beginning of everything, they use to always make me sing
Because money it would bring, that was there thing, church to them was all about 

the money that could help them out,
and how loud they could shout, when I told them they were fost so much pain it cost, but one thing I know
Love they did not show they fooled everyone else but I was there child and not proud to know and see the truth

Choices & chances

Things happen to you with the choices you make and chances you take, know one should be the blame. just make different choices and take different chances and that will cause change for your life then things will work out alright

See The Way

Love is the key know trouble it would be,
it do not mean sit back and live in defeat
it’s always some kind of way that you can

get your point across yes it will cost
do it in a loving way but strong, firm and
make a big statement if not hate will be

your replacement, looking back at history
it already speaks for me so I choose to live free  
just having contentment with everything that

you can change, doing that will not take away the pain
if you step out on faith to try something new,
thought you could not do before,

faith and change is your open door
first you have to make changes in self,
you may struggle to get their it will not be easy

some days you may feel this can’t be me
I don’t like this I want to be free, you may want to give up
but if you don’t TRY, you and your future generation will die.

If you don’t then you will not never really
know who you are and that you can go very far
You will know that change will come because

you did something about it you berdun will be lift
don’t live in defeat love everyone you meet,
growing up with the difficulties do not make you

who you are, trying our best you will be a star,
You have more control over your life than you think you do,
you might can not change how it started don’t let that

make you cold hearted keep moving forward everything
will be ok, with love you will see the way,

Material Things

I go without so much material things but 
it do not make up for the joy they bring 
because, for my kids i will do anything, 
always putting myself aside to survive. 

With all that time hurting inside from the pain,
from my past it remain, but today that pain 
some of it I do not claim because in my heart love rain,
I don't care about them material things
know matter what I do If I lose a thing or two
I will keep hope alive because I learn to survive   
because I have faith so I know it’s nothing I can’t face
It will turn out okay just trying to make it through the rough days
In my heart I know I will be ok

I don’t care about them material things
one day I will have all them things but I will never
forget about what truly matters in life I know everything will be all right
I don’t have to have all them things to make me who I am
for my life I have a plan if it don’t go just the way I think it should
